Random Tidbits from the Exotic Vietnam!

With just a few days after its kick off, the Miss Earth pageant is now getting more intense as most of the delegates arrived. For the first time since 2001, the contest will take place outside the Philippines. Vietnam is the official host country of the 2010 edition. It was reported that Vietnam will host for every two years till 2020 (2012, 2014, 2016, 2018 and 2020).

EARLY FAVORITES: 

Guam is very well represented in this year’s pageant. She has this Crystle Stewart (MIss USA 2008) aura that the Vietnamese would love. Remember that Vietnam hosted the Miss Universe 2008 Pageant and Crystle finished as top 10 finalist! Her exotic features and her slim figure makes her a serious contender for the Best in Swimsuit.

Both Vietnam and Korea are not only beautiful, but also friendly and intelligent young women. These two are very beautiful and nice, and are among this year’s strongest competitors from the Asian Region. Korea has this white porcelain skin that the Vietnamese adore. She's very nice and enthusiastic to everyone around her. Take note that Korea is a pageant superpower in the Carousel Pageants (Asia Pacific and Earth Pageants) and everyone is expecting that she will do well. Many believed that Vietnam will be a shoo-in in the top 4! She's beautiful in person and has a vibrant personality. Watchout for this lady, she could do a Karla Henry finish in the finals.

Mauritius is not only incredibly beautiful, but also super nice and kind to everyone. She’s the kind of person you could spend hours talking about a variety of topics! Despite the less-flattering photos during her arrival photos, her exotic looks may be her ticket to making the final cut. She's even more beautiful in person. Back home she is a model, and many people believe she could do really well in the competition.

Miss Netherlands is very gorgeous in person. This stunning blonde is a raw version of Jennifer Hawkins. Gladly, she finished as a semifinalist in Miss World 2010. Watchout for this lady, Netherlands will finally have its breakthrough! Thank you Kim Kotter for having a glamorous Dutch representative. Slovakia is surprisingly beautiful in person. USA is very tall. We do not expect much from USA, except maybe exuding a sunny personality and winning a Miss Friendship award. This lady is different from her past gorgeous USA Earth predecessors. Just enjoy your vacation.

The scene stealer of the last night dinner is the arrival of Venezuela. Everyone from the Organizers, delegates and hotel staff awed at her beauty. She is not that typical Latina beauty but more of a European-Latina beauty. Anyway, she's half Italian! The Vietnamese media is rooting for her. Possibly, she could duplicate Dayana Mendoza's victory in Vietnam.

COMPETITIONS AND LATEST TIDBITS:

Twenty delegates from 87 gorgeous women are chosen to compete for Miss Earth Talent on November 9. The contestants are rehearsing under the clock and getting ready for Talent’s big finale, to take place at the Diamond Palace in HCM City featuring Vietnamese pop stars My Tam and Dam Vinh Hung and will be shown in the whole country of Vietnam.
