Brazil interested in hosting the Miss Universe 2010

Brazil shows interest in being the host country of Miss Universe 2010 Pageant.

As reported by Terra Brazil and other media outlets, the Vice President of RedeTV!, Mr. Marcelo de Carvalho, is interested in bringing the Miss Universe pageant to Brazil.
Mr. Carvalho travelled to New York with his wife, host and model Luciana Gimenez, and Trump’s associate in Brazil, Mr.Ricardo Bellino (of Trump Realty Brazil)
The Folha newspaper of Sao Paulo reported the negotiations and how Embratur (Brazil’s Tourism Ministry) would be financing the pageant if the negotiations take place.
After Bolivia and Croatia -which were interested- withdrew their hosting proposals, there has not been an official announcement from the Miss Universe Organization regarding other venues or a possible date.
If held in Brazil, the pageant will probably take place around November.
